Jodi
primarily provides tax research, planning and compliance services to individuals,
C-corporations, LLC-corporations, S-corporations and partnerships executing
strategic plans for clients to minimize tax liabilities. Jodi also provides
accounting services to these same entities.
Additionally, Jodi
has experience with non-profit corporations as well as the design and integration
of accounting systems for small and medium size businesses implementing procedures
to safeguard assets. Jodi also had extensive experience in the area of payroll
taxes.
Jodi also represents
clients, if needed, in the audit process before the Internal Revenue Service
and State agencies.
Jodi is a member
of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Jodi's family relocated
to Apache Junction in 1981 and has called the area home since. She has spent
time in other communities in both Colorado and Arizona but was drawn back to
the Superstition Mountains and the local surrounding communities.
Jodi volunteers
her time as the Treasurer of the Lost Dutchman Marathon, Inc. Board of Directors.
The Lost Dutchman Marathon, Inc. is a local non-profit corporation that orchestrates
an annual destination running event featuring 5 different races, a full marathon,
1/2 marathon, 10k, 8k road race and 2 mile fun run/walk. Profits of the organization
are donated to local programs benefiting children as well as providing scholarships
to local high school students allowing them to attend college.
Jodi also sits
on the Apache Junction Main Street Board of Directors, with a mission to beautify,
build and improve the core business district to give the citizens a vibrant
downtown for the greater good of the community.
Jodi is married
and has a young daughter. Her hobbies include running, yoga, reading, and spending
time with her family. She has most recently taken up knitting!
